Welcome to The Ivanhoe Hotel, a small, family run guest house, where you can be assured of a warm, friendly welcome and where high standards of comfort and cleanliness in bed and breakfast guest accommodation are a top priority. Add a good, fresh home cooked breakfast and you have the perfect combination to make your stay at our guest house a memorable one.
The Ivanhoe Hotel is situated in a most pleasant residential area, approximately 200m from the beautiful South Beach and within easy walking distance of the Harbour, Town Centre and Rail and Coach Stations. We are especially within easy walking distance of the Spa Theatre and the Royal Hall - ideal for conference delegates.
All our guest accommodation is tastefully decorated and has central heating. We offer a range of rooms suitable for double, twin and family accommodation, all rooms have en-suite facilities, colour television and tea and coffee making facilities.
Although we do not have single rooms, you are most welcome to book a room as a single at a small extra charge.
We also have a comfortable guest lounge with colour television, as well as a well stocked bar for those who like a "wee dram" in the evenings!
At The Ivanhoe Hotel the "traditional" English breakfast menu of sausages, bacon, eggs, baked beans, tomatoes, hash brown and fried bread, accompanied by cereals, fruit juice, toast and preserves washed down with copious amounts of piping hot tea or coffee is our normal fare!
However, there is a choice of menu for breakfasts and we will happily cater for special diets by arrangement.
